Our Mérens horse farm is situated at 600m elevation in the small farming village (pop. 192) of Lasserre at the foot of the Ariège Pyrenees. We have 2 bed and breakfast guest rooms and 2 gîtesthat can altogether accommodate 28 people.

You will be greeted at the farm by a member of the Savignol family: Colette, a spry 75, who is the guardian of our horses and for whom each one is her protegé whose story she knows inside out.... Christine the hostess and decorator of our rooms, Jean Louis the man of the moment or Amandine our daughter.

The houses face full south at the edge of the village. They enjoy a panoramic view of the rolling foothills and the high snow-capped peaks of the Pyrenees.

We offer two guestrooms :
- the bedroom "Tom" with a 140cm double bed and a view of the Pyrenees
- the bedroom "Grenier" with a 140cm double bed, a 110cm bed and two single beds.

For meals, the equipped kitchen is at your disposal and there are several restaurants in the surrounding area (menus from 9 to 38 euros).

In the village you will find : tennis and petanque courts, table tennis, children's playground, and of course the possibility of walks, mountain biking and horseriding.

We offer themed weekends on the farm in which we share our little secrets with you in a convivial ambience as if you were at home: pig butchering, foie gras and duck confit preparation, branding the horses, watching the foals being born, making jam, pressing apples, gathering mushrooms...
